Situated in the Lake District National Park a recently refurbished nineteenth century cottage, in a style typical of many in the lake district. The cottage was originally used in the production of local lake district cheese’s until the 1920’s when it became a cottage for estate workers.
There is a small garden to the front with garden furniture and barbeque provided.
Lounge and Kitchen
The lounge area has recently been refurbished and features oak flooring and a traditional Lakeland slate fireplace and real wood burner.
The wide screen television has free view and DVD.
The kitchen area contains a fitted kitchen including electric cooker and oven, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge freezer.
Bedrooms
There are two upstairs bedrooms, both of which have recently been refurbished to a very high standard using high quality furnishings in solid oak. High quality bed linen is also provided.
There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room.
Bathroom
There is a downstairs bathroom containing a power-shower, ideal for soothing those aches and pains after a hard day exploring the lake districts fells, lakes and mountains.
